What happens when the Holy Spirit gets ahold of you? Maybe you’ve experienced it – that tingle up your spine, a peace that comes over you, or maybe it fills you and overflows in tears. Whatever you’ve experienced before, you can still experience more! That was true for Methodism’s founder, John Wesley.

Even though the Methodist movement had begun and Wesley had served as a missionary, he had a Holy Spirit encounter that changed everything. At a bible study he admits he reluctantly went to, God got ahold of his soul. He wrote, “I felt my heart strangely warmed.” It led to a revival in his faith and sparked a passion that’s still touching lives.
